It is located in the top part of the prestigious urbanisation of Valtocado just 10 minutes from the village of Mijas. Boasting lovely views of the countryside and coastline and situated in a charmed, quiet area of Andulucia. Just a short drive away is the buzz of Fuengirola and Malaga airport and only 15 minutes to Corte Ingles with a huge supermarket stocking Spanish and European foods.

Built in an Andalusian style, with covered terraces all along the garden side, the main accommodation is on one level, comprising :

* A large fully fitted kitchen with artisan made ceramic tiles on walls with double doors leading to the terrace that encircles the front of the property with a BBQ area. Fitted gas cooker is a two oven and grill Aga style range, with 4 rings, heating plate and top griddle. Off the kitchen there is a large utility room with outside washing terrace.
* There is a dining room with an arch and wall alcoves, reached by sliding wooden double doors from the kitchen, which leads to:
* The living room which has a feature fireplace for winter and ceiling fans for summer. Two large French windows lead on to the terrace.
* Leading on from the hallway on the same level, there are 3 ample double bedrooms, all with built-in wardrobes and two bathrooms, one en-suite.

There are two further terraces with fantastic views of the sea (which could be built on to provide extra rooms if need be).
* At the basement level, we have made a large double room that is currently used as an office with a separate shower room. This could easily be made into an independent guest apartment.
* Other features include a 10 m x 5 m pool and large double garage and basement storage area. The plot size is 2400 sq m, fully fenced, electric gates, and very private, being one of the few plots completely surrounded by pine trees, securing privacy.

Essential features:

We oversaw the building of the property ourselves and have lived here permanently, ensuring that there are many features (e.g guttering, fully planted garden) that you would not find in a holiday home. The overall volume of the house is large, but you can just as easily live here cosily as two people or a family, expanding to the additional bedrooms without difficulty to accommodate those summer visits.
