Huelva is not a beautiful town and the province is industrial in nature. Huelva shares its border with Portugal. While the region may be rather ugly, it does get many history buffs visiting it. The great explorer – Christopher Columbus began his voyage to the New World from a near by bay town called Palos de la Frontera. Huelva is the center of one of the largest concentration of beaches in all of Spain. Mostly Spaniards visit this port town while on their way to the numerous swanky and luxurious resorts along the coastal belt. The city of Huelva is also home to many-many first class hotels that cater the vast influx of tourists every year.
The port town held significance in the pages of history. However, it does make for a pleasant place to spend time sauntering through the many pretty plazas, historical monuments and numerous seafood bars and restaurants.
The Huelva property scene is full of old and new structures. Choice can be made between commercial shops, restaurants, cafes and/or villas, apartments etc.
